LITTLE BITS OF INFORMATION TO KEEP IN MIND

VATICAN MUSEUMS
1. Remember that the Vatican Museums are closed on Sunday with the exception of the last Sunday of each month when admission is free.
2. Wednesday seems to be the less busy day at the Vatican Museums - perhaps because in coincidence with the Wednesday audience of the Pope where many pilgrims go.
3. It's possible to partecipate to the Wednesday's Audience with the Pope. Reserve your free ticket by writing with some advance to the "Prefettura Vaticana", Stato del Vaticano (Rome - Italy).
4. Remember that to go up the Vatican Museums you can take the elevator. Same for the roof of Saint Peter's Basilica.
5. For lire 8.000 it is possible to rent a CD-guide, very useful and well done.

The Senat is open to the public on the 1st Saturday of each month.
