When I've been asked to describe in a few words the Gulf of Naples as introduction for my web site page, I really got in trouble: how to summarize shortly history, art and traditions of one of the most beautiful countries of Italy?

I found the starting point in the neapolitan people ...they still love pleasure and luxury as Greeks and Romans did before, they are as volcanic as Mount Vesuvius, they still consider Naples as Capital of Art all over Southern Italy, as well as it was during the Anjou and Bourbon reign... evidences and customs of so many different dominations are still recognizable all over the territory, as well as in our way of living: everybody knows the properties of our mineral spas and uses them,most of the people achieve their own Christmas crèche, we all love going out and have a delicious Margherita pizza in any moment of our day...

Transfer all this on a stage and you'll have a typical scene of neapolitan theatre going on...Near a church,someone is listening to a tour guide explaining all this...that's you, a part of the action, too!
