"We were planning a trip to Rome and did not quite know what to expect when we were told that our guide Francesca be used to working with children. Our two girls, 6 and 12 years and our boy 10 years were experienced travelers, but had not really been guided through ruins and art before. Wandering through the Coliseum and Forum Romano for a few hours keeping them interested when one is keen to learn about Gladiators and death and the other about the people and the birds took some real skill to handle. All this while keeping the parents engaged in as well. The following day would be the real test. The Vatican museum and the Sistine Chapel for three hours! It was all wonderful. By focusing on captivating details about the ordinary life of the ancient people or the particular skills of an artist and by showing where the Pope lives and what the world map looked like 500 years ago we marched through the hallways in good condition to take a stroll around San Peter's Basilica and Square. The best part was when our son came out from the Chapel having just hear Francesca's description about the Final Judgment and out came a confession and fear of the consequences. It was all really sweet. Talk about the impact of history on the youth!"

We would warmly welcome Francesca to families with children of all ages and event with little exposure to culture focused travel. She takes great care of a detail hungry group of grown ups as well. Francesca's pleasant and adaptive style made the days in Rome really memorable.
