I deeply love Rome, the city where I was born and grew up.

It is a magical city – a living archeological museum, so rich in historical layers that allow you to travel across time. A place where one can encounter the work of some of the most outstanding Renaissance and Baroque artists by simply walking down the street, sitting in the middle of a square or visiting one of the many galleries.

I started working as an art guide after completing my Art History studies at the University of Rome, with a focus on Renaissance iconography and Baroque sculpture. Later, I also mastered in Caravaggio’s pictorial technique. I participated in a number of editorial projects for academic and/or exhibition purposes, and I often write for Art magazines.

I really enjoy meeting travelers who come to Rome. I like talking to them, exchanging opinions and ideas, and going with them on tours around the city that often result in discovering yet new picturesque sites. In fact, Rome’s charm keeps renewing in the eyes of those who observe it with careful curiosity: it is like an open book that never fails to excite!

Hi Sergio,
