Day 1 - Thu October 14TH 2010

ARRIVAL DAY

Arrive at Rome airport (FCO/CIA) and transfer to the hotel

lunch and relaxation

h3:30PM departure to Capodimonte - Lake Bolsena

Visit a local producer for a wine and food tasting (cheese, salami, bruschette, sauces, vegetables, soups and wines)

h5:00PM boat tour on Lake Bolsena, cruise itinerary: Bisentina and Martana islands, Marta and Capodimonte

h6:30PM return to the hotel

h8:30PM dinner - menu based on local traditional dishes with first course, second course, side dish and cake - beverages included

Day 2 - Fri October 15TH 2010

MORNING TRIP TO CAPRAROLA, LUNCH ON LAKE VICO, AFTERNOON IN VITERBO

Continental breakfast

h9:30AM leave for Caprarola - guided tour of Palazzo Farnese: built as fortress was then transformed in great Renaissance residence for Alessandro Farnese, nephew of Pope Paul III.

The frescoes in the 'Piano Nobile' is what of finest has been producesd by the Manierismo Italiano school. Beautiful 'Scala Regia' (spiral staircase) wish wide steps to be accessed by horse

Lunch at a typical trattora on Lake Vico

Menu of pizza of various toppings - beverages included

h3:00PM travel to Viterbo

Guided tour of Viterbo: the medieval quarter of St. Pellegrino, the most characteristic and best preserved medieval quarter in Italy, a great example of Contrada from the 12th Century AD; the Palace of the Popes, built in medieval Gothic style, which was used as Papal residence for almost the entire 14th Century AD.

h6:00PM travel back to the hotel; we will also offer a shuttle service (until 8PM) for those people who prefer to stay in the city for the rest of the evening

h8:30PM dinner - menu based on local traditional dishes with first course, second course, side dish and cake - beverages included

Day 3 - Sat October 16TH 2010

MORNING AND AFTERNOON FREE, EVENING-NIGHT HOUSE RAFFLE EVENT!

Continental breakfast

Fee day, we will provide a shuttle service for those who will want to spend the morning in Viterbo or at the nearby spas (Terme dei Papi)

9AM start of shuttle bus service from the hotel to the center of Viterbo and the Spa of Terme dei Papi

We will provide a map of the city a list of suggestion for shops and restaurants

For those people who will prefer to lunch in the hotel there will be the option of lunch at set price menu

h5:00PM travel to the Castle for the Raffle Event (unconfirmed site: Castello Ruspoli - Vignanello VT)

Presentation of the event, music event in the gardens of the Castle, Nerone House Raffle Event, party with dinner and music

h12:00AM travel back to the hotel

Day 4 - Sun October 17TH 2010

MORNING FREE, LUNCH, TOUR OF VILLA LANTE (BAGNAIA), FAREWELL DINNER IN AN HISTORICAL CLOISTER

Continental breakfast

Morning free - there will be a free shuttle service from the hotel to Viterbo and Bagnaia

h1:00PM Lunch in a typical trattoria near Bagnaia

menu based on local traditional dishes with first course, second course, side dish and cake - beverages included

h3:30PM guided tour of Villa Lante, fine example of Renaissance architecture, built by progect of Vignola is embellished by beautiful fountains and bacins, waterfall, bushes and sculptures made from the typical and local Peperino stone

h7:30PM Farewell dinner in the charming location of an hisotrical garden, with buffet and music (medieval and Renaissance music; musicians and hosts will be dressed in traditional clothes from the Middle Ages and Renaissance times!)

Day 5 - Mon October 18TH 2010

DEPARTURE

It comes time to say good bye, or 'arrivederci' (see you again!), to the people and the land of Tuscia!
