Sergio Caggia |
Nerone (The Isider's Guide to Rome) was born as a Newspaper in English in 1994 from an idea of Sergio Caggia. It was distribuited free monthly in Rome for more than two years. It was a guide to Rome, a source of information and ideas and an entertaining reading thanks to many articles on Rome's history, art and traditions. We Nerone we also started proposing tours of Rome to our readers. Indeed it was created for both Rome's visitors, who could simply show up and join our tours, and for residents.
In 1996 the first internet version of the newspaper was posted on the web to offer at the disposal of more people the contents of Nerone, the Insider's Guide to Rome.
In 1997 we started a new business adventure which we called Rome Made to Measure, to offer to Rome visitors private walking tours. This turned out being a great experience for us as we had the chance to meet people and share with them directly our enthusiasm for the Eternal city!
Today, we have been in business for 15 years, offering tourist information and support and private tours of Rome; and we have been publishing on the internet for more than 13 years. |
